The Uptown office tower across from Klyde Warren Park, known as Texas Capital Center at 2000 McKinney Ave, was sold to Crescent Real Estate. The German seller (Union Investment) had owned the building since 2016 and the transaction is shaping up to be one of the largest in North Texas so far in 2025.

CBRE (headquartered in Dallas) is diversifying its business model by emphasizing non-cyclical revenue streams like property management, valuations, and project management to hedge against downturns in transactional real estate.
